What am I exploring?

The demo and its 40 captures show Node’s standalone design preview with sample data. Some layouts and prototype tools differ from the native Pterodactyl package.

You can browse pages, open dialogs and preview colours and languages. Creating, editing, deleting, uploading, sending messages and running commands are blocked. Visual changes last for the current visit only.

Full-resolution desktop captures are 3840 pixels wide. Public catalogs and the example BlueMap belong to their respective providers.

What’s in the native package?

Your Pterodactyl client tools: console and power controls, live resource readings, files, databases, backups, schedules, subusers, allocations, startup, settings and activity. Account tools include 2FA, API keys and SSH keys.

Node adds saved support conversations, an encrypted owner/admin secrets manager, Java player files and inventory, properties and world directories, FiveM configuration and resources, extension catalogs, BlueMap and private assistant threads.

The interface adapts to desktop and mobile, with 12 palettes, 11 locally hosted fonts and 16 language dictionaries. The administrator area keeps its original Pterodactyl interface.

Before you install

You need a working, unmodified Pterodactyl Panel 1.15.1, configured Wings and the normal PHP, database, web-server, cron and queue services. The installer requires Python 3.9+; use a maintained Python release.

Back up the panel and database, then extract the Node archive outside the panel directory. For Docker installations, run the installer inside the panel container.

Verification used Panel 1.15.1 and Wings 1.13.3. Other panel releases and third-party frontend modifications are not automatically compatible. The native PHP theme cannot be installed on static hosting.

Installation, step by step

Run the compatibility check, then install. Replace the path below with your panel’s directory.

python3 install.py check --panel /var/www/pterodactyl
sudo python3 install.py install --panel /var/www/pterodactyl

The installer checks protected files, backs up originals, enables maintenance, installs the theme and its database tables, refreshes caches and reopens the panel. No production Yarn build is needed.

The download includes English and French instructions, recovery steps and dependency licences.

Updates & removal

Use the installer from a compatible release to update or restore the original panel files.

sudo python3 install.py update --panel /var/www/pterodactyl
sudo python3 install.py uninstall --panel /var/www/pterodactyl

Uninstall retains Node conversations, preferences and encrypted secrets. Keep your panel backups and APP_KEY safe. Modified theme files require review before update or removal.

Optional connections
Extension catalogs
Modrinth and SpigotMC need no Node-specific key. CurseForge, Hytale and Palworld require an authorised CurseForge API key. Downloads use Wings; modpack deployment and dependency installation remain separate.
BlueMap
Use your own public HTTPS map URL with embedding enabled. An external-open option is available. The default third-party example is labelled in the interface.
Assistant
Private saved threads and a built-in navigation guide work without a provider key. Optional AI replies need the administrator’s OpenAI key and model, with provider fees billed separately. The assistant cannot execute server actions or automatically read files and secrets.
Languages & game compatibility

The core client interface works with games already managed through compatible Pterodactyl eggs. Dedicated Java, FiveM and catalog tools require their corresponding game files and configuration; every game version has not been tested individually.

Language dictionaries are included for English, French, Indonesian, Czech, Danish, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish, Russian, Hindi and Korean.

Interface copy and built-in guide replies follow the selected language. User messages, console output, files and provider content keep their original text. The editable dictionaries include automated translations.
